The Marketing Specialist works on social media content optimizes landing pages, supports offline and digital events, assists with sales collateral, customer retention, and creates small-scale display ads. The Marketing and Communications Specialist manages all marketing and communications activities for Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. The specialist develops and implements strategies to reach a wider audience across the various communities served, with the goal of increased awareness, attendance, and development support. They will cultivate new contacts and develop relationships across campus to promote the library. They will develop and execute a range of projects including the creation of collateral such as brochures, annual reports, and press releases. The specialist will coordinate social media with a team of content creators. They will assist in planning library events and coordinating community events taking place in the library. They will also work with Advancement and others to ensure that donations are processed and acknowledged correctly.
