About the Speakers
Mark Roberts has worked throughout the music industry for 27 years at record companies, artist management firms, and live music marketing. He began marketing live music in 2000 with House of Blues New Orleans. Since 2000, Mark has marketed thousands of shows from small club shows to stadium concerts. Mark transitioned from House of Blues Entertainment to Live Nation New Orleans/North American Concerts in the Fall of 2016 bringing along years of experience, local market contacts & industry knowledge.
Alex Bowen is the youngest Senior Talent Buyer in Live Nation Entertainment’s Club & Theater Division. Alex and his team exclusively book the House of Blues New Orleans and the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge while also producing concerts in various clubs & theaters throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. In 2018, his team on pace to produce over 300 concerts in the region. Bowen also is an Artist Manager at Silverback Music Management. A graduate of Mediatech Institute, Bowen’s past experience includes Talent Buying for HUKA Entertainment and Co-managing The Original Meters.
