DREAM (Dedicating Resources to Employees of Advertising and Media) Fund will be hosting a benefit on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the top of Jax Brewery, 600 Decatur Street, Fifth Floor.

The benefit will include live music by Randy Hebert, 6 to 7 pm, live and silent auctions, celebrity bartenders, and food and drink. Cost is $15 per person.

What is DREAM Fund?
No matter how creative you are, it is difficult to imagine the curves life can sometimes throw your way. That’s why DREAM Fund exists undefined to help people in the communications industry in a time of life crisis.
DREAM Fund is a nonprofit foundation and the support link serving the advertising, public relations and media communities throughout the Southwest. The mission of the fund is to aid colleagues in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana facing an unexpected medical emergency or life crisis and in need of emotional support and financial assistance.
Since 1991, DREAM Fund has gifted hundreds of thousands of dollars to individuals facing such hardships. We are here to serve people. The New Orleans chapter was formed in early 2008, and our goal this year is to let everyone know about this resource.

How we do it:
DREAM Fund raises money through annual fund-raisers and direct contributions from companies and individuals.
