Director of Marketing

Loyola University New Orleans is seeking a full time Director of Marketing to assist the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications in development and execution of marketing campaigns and plans for assigned university groups, graduate recruitment, fundraising and for the university’s overall marketing communications program. Experience is required in strategic marketing planning that includes advertising, publications, internet, video, media buying and direct marketing efforts. This position works to enhance institutional image to achieve university goals and objectives through the implementation of university-wide marketing strategies. Experience in higher education marketing is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree or higher is required in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and related fields;
- minimum of four years’ experience in marketing, communications strategies, ad agency or equivalent skills;
- experience effectively working cross functionally with teams who have interconnected, yet different goals and priorities;
- must have marketing vision and style compatible with the mission and goals of Loyola as well as high level of organizational skills and exceptional oral and written communications skills;
- must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well in a positive manner;
- work requires the ability to multi-task and be flexible;
- strong attention to detail and analytical background required.
